PRIVACY
What publiq.sh collects, what it shows and how to ask for removal. Last updated . This page describes how the site works. It is not legal advice and has not had its lawyer review yet.
WHAT THE SITE COLLECTS TODAY
- Nothing beyond hosting logs. The hosting provider, and Cloudflare once it sits in front, keep standard request logs: IP address, browser, page and time. Which host, and how long it keeps logs, is added here before launch.
- No accounts, no cookies set by publiq.sh, no analytics script and no third-party scripts.
- The four forms (claim, email signup, waitlist and missed entry) store what you send in them. The next section says what, why and for how long. A form that is switched off says so and sends nothing.
- The analytics tool is Cloudflare Web Analytics, chosen on 2026-10-16. It is not switched on yet; when it is, the line above says so.
WHAT THE FORMS STORE
Draft for the lawyer review. Everything below is kept in one database, Railway Postgres, run by Daan for publiq.sh. None of it is shown on the site as you send it.
- Claim: your LinkedIn profile URL and/or X handle, your display name, company, one line about your business and link if you fill them in, your three show-or-hide choices, your email if you give it, and whether you joined the email list. Why: to link your answers to you and show only what you opted in to. A claim is not verified when you send it: Daan checks it by hand, and nothing from it appears on the site until he approves it.
- Email signup: your email. Why: to send you the evening report and the weekly email.
- Waitlist: your email, and your company and link if you fill them in. Why: to tell you when you can run your own season.
- Missed entry: the ticket and the link to your comment or reply. Why: so Daan can check an answer the import missed and score it. A link to an X reply shows your X handle.
- To slow down abuse, each post counts against a keyed hash of your IP address (HMAC-SHA-256, with a secret key only the site has), at most 5 posts per 10 minutes. Your IP address itself is never stored. The hash is deleted after about a day, the next time anyone sends a form.
- How long: until the end of Season 1 plus 90 days (Season 1 ends on 29 January 2027), unless Daan sets a different period here. Then Daan deletes it by hand, on 29 April 2027: deletion is a dated manual step, not automated yet.
- To have what you sent deleted earlier, email privacy@publiq.sh (pending) from the address you used, or with the handle or profile you claimed.
YOUR ANSWERS ON LINKEDIN AND X
- Public answers to Daan's ticket posts are read, read-only, and scored on Daan's own computer. The raw answers are never published here.
- Until you claim a profile, your answers show under an anonymous handle such as "Player 7f3a". Your LinkedIn profile or X handle is not shown and is not linked.
- Your answer text is treated as data. It never becomes an instruction for an AI agent.
NAMES, COMPANIES AND QUOTES: OPT-IN ONLY
- Your name, company and link appear only after you opt in, and you opt in to each one separately.
- The links to your original comments and replies, which show your LinkedIn profile or X handle, appear on your receipts only after you claim a profile and opt in to both your name and your link.
- A quote from your answer appears on the site, on a share card or in a post only with your consent.
- Being featured is never presented as Daan endorsing your business.
NO OUTREACH
Answering never adds you to sales outreach or to any list. The email list is a separate choice you make yourself when you claim a profile.
ASK FOR REMOVAL
Email privacy@publiq.sh (pending) from the account you answered with, or link to one of your answers. Your name, company, link and quotes are taken off the site, and your rows show under an anonymous handle again. Ledger rows stay, because the scores of other players depend on them.
